Duca della Corgna “Baccio del Rosso” Colli del Trasimeno DOC 2022 – Country: Italy – Capacity: 0.75 Duca della Corgna Colli del Trasimeno DOC Baccio del Rosso is a fresh and fragrant wine that Duca della Corgna produces from 70% Sangiovese grapes and 30% Gamay, known here as Trasimeno Gamay. The grapes, harvested in the best production areas of the DOC, are processed immediately after the harvest and enhanced with a simple but careful vinification, without any passage in wood. The result is a wine characterized by an intense ruby red colour with violet reflections. The nose reveals an intense and harmonious bouquet, rich in notes of fresh red fruit, with delicate hints of vegetables and sweet spices on the finish. In the mouth it is dry, full and elegant. Harmonious and rightly tannic. It can also be served slightly cooler, allowing the temperature in the glass to rise slowly as the minutes pass, revealing new facets in terms of aromas.
