Felsina “Pepestrino” Toscana Bianco IGT 2023 – Country: Italy – Capacity: 0.75 Felsina It comes from a blend of three grape varieties: Trebbiano, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. This is Pepestrino di Fèlsina, a fresh and immediate white wine, simple but satisfying. The grapes come from vineyards located at a height of about 350 metres above sea level, with a south-west exposure. After harvesting, the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks. The same material is also used for the subsequent ageing phase, at the end of which the wine is ready to be bottled and marketed. Straw yellow with greenish highlights, the nose is dominated by typically floral and fruity aromas. In the mouth it is light-bodied and very refreshing, thanks to its natural sapidity. An extremely versatile white wine, ideal for everyday consumption, Pepestrino is perfect as an aperitif but also as an accompaniment to tasty fish dishes. Try it, for example, with the classic mixed fry but also with a large fish cooked in the oven.
