Leonardo da Vinci 1502 Da Vinci in Romagna “Duomo di Faenza” Trebbiano Romagna DOC 2022 – Country: Italy – Capacity: 0.75 Leonardo da Vinci Let’s start with the name. In 1502, Leonardo spent six months of his life in Romagna. This line of wines is inspired by that period, produced from local vines and transformed according to the Leonardo Method. Like this Duomo di Faenza, Romagna DOC, which comes from Trebbiano grapes harvested from the second ten days of September. Soft vinification at controlled temperature to allow the aromas of the wine to develop, fruity and floral, while maintaining the classic fresh note. In the glass it has a beautiful very pale yellow colour, with intense and direct aromas, dominated by peach, broom flowers and notes of fresh grass. In the mouth it reveals a perfect balance between body and acidity which makes it very drinkable. Good right from the aperitif, this Duomo di Faenza was created to best accompany traditional dishes, starting with the classic “piada romagnola” with rocket and squacquerone cheese.
