Montindon Lugana DOC 2023 – Country: Italy – Capacity: 0.75 Montindon It comes from the vinification of pure Trebbiano di Lugana. An extremely interesting vine that grows well thanks to the particular microclimate that characterises the Lake Garda area. In this case, the vineyards of the Montindon company are located south of the lake and have an average age of over 30 years. The harvest takes place between the middle and the end of September, with manual selection of the best bunches. In the cellar, after soft pressing, a cold maceration is carried out for a few hours to favour varietal typicality and the extraction of aromas. Fermentation at a controlled temperature and a period in stainless steel complete the process. The result is a wine characterised by a beautiful straw yellow colour, with aromas of exotic fruit, apricots and nectarines. In the mouth, however, it is appreciated for its fullness and perfect harmony. A traditional white wine, it is ideal with fish-based first courses. For lovers of regional dishes, it also goes well with the classic grilled eel.
